Design a Fantasy Character (6th - 12th grades)
Week 6 (7/25 - 7/29)
Students will create a character to be based in a fantasy world. They will design their character and come up with a backstory, personalities, choose a race, class, and learn how to make their characters feel realistic to an audience. Students will create character sheets, draw up weapons and props, and more. Class will end with a short D&D style campaign in which the students can role-play their characters -will include brief interactive talks about character design concepts such as Palette, Silhouette, and Exaggeration.
Skill level required: Student's who enjoy drawing faces/full bodies and are comfortable with sketching/brainstorming.
